‘Wale Irokosu is a seasoned litigator who combines a broad practice in contentious and non-contentious commercial law with 2 decades of post-call experience. He is a co-Founder & Managing Partner, Probitas Partners LLP.

He is cross disciplinary thinker with credible expertise in electricity power, capital markets and commercial law. He is a notary public, chartered tax practitioner and chartered shipbroker.

‘Wale is conversant with negotiations of aviation contracts, contracts of carriage of goods by sea, charter parties, sale and purchase of vessels and marine insurance. He leads the firm’s team of experts in the electricity power industry. He also supervises the data protection compliance practice of the firm. He has vast experience in property related legal issues. He also carries out company secretarial duties for various companies on behalf of the firm and acts as a legislative adviser. He is regarded as an exceptionally driven and result oriented legal practitioner.

‘Wale continues to contribute to the body of knowledge in the legal profession, pioneering a dedicated publication of judgements in relation to electricity cases and leading research for the Electricity Law Reports and the Electricity Digest. He served on the National Executive Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association(2020-22); NBA Legal Education Committee (2021-2022); NBA Disciplinary Panel, Lagos Panel A (2015-2019).
